Meet The Doctor
Robert Terzian, DMD
Dr. Robert Terzian received his DMD degree in General Dentistry from Tufts University in 1980. Before opening his own practice over 30 years ago, he was an associate in several regional offices and served as an emergency on-call dentist at the Lahey Clinic. In addition to his private practice, Dr. Terzian has served as a clinical instructor at Tufts University and Forsythe School of Dental Hygiene. Other voluntary endeavors have included treating homeless and high-risk youths through Boston’s Bridge Over Troubled Waters and under-privileged children through a state-funded mobile van that visited schools in the Merrimack Valley region.
Dr. Terzian is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Massachusetts Dental Association, and the Middlesex District Dental Society. He continually updates his skills and education with courses offered by these and other organizations. Additionally, he has served for many years as an officer at the annual Boston Yankee Dental Congress, where he has also lectured.
Through more than 36 years in clinical practice, Dr. Terzian has formed a wonderful bond with his patients and the Winchester community where he was born and raised. Early in his practice, he often returned to the Vinson Owen Elementary School, which he attended, to teach dental health. And with several families, he has enjoyed treating as many as four generations. He has been a member of the Winchester Rotary Club and the Chamber of Commerce, a participant in The Winton Club, and continues to serve in many community activities. To this day, he can sometimes be found back stage, at local school, community, and professional theater productions!
